superfarms
Topic: farming ideas for future
superfarms, tommorrows new way to grow food and manage lower costs. today, food is costing people too much money. also, starvation is happening. today more than ever, the different countries of the world need to create a 'super farm' or 'hyper farm'.
big stores like walmart, carrefoure, k-mart, tesco, and such are very big stores for people to shop at. they offer a huge indoor store with lower prices on many things. so, it goes to reason, that a hyper farm would be a very large farm.
these farms should be placed in areas that are warm all year. such areas could be austrailia, kahzakstan, afghanistan, south america, africa, or even big pacific islands. the idea is a BIG farm. different countries could get involved in a cooperative to have lower food prices. when you think about it, isnt it sort of wrong to even have a price tag on food? something we all need very much like water. so, food should be very cheap but higher price for prepared foods (restaurants, special box items factories made). in usa, they have a 'municipal water department'. a government funded program to bring water to people very low price. there should also be a 'municipal food department' as food can be produced just as cheaply as water.
the new idea for super farms or hyperfarms is to perhaps bring students to work on them for a 1 month period. the more students, the less the work load could be. the area for the workers should be very modern and nice. not shacks and cold tents that todays farm workers endure. a very modern olympic athelete type facility with nice dorm rooms, music, television, good food to eat, and everything you would find in a nice hostel in a city.
the food to grow would be just about everything you can think of with todays modern farming equipment and tools. farming should also be taught in schools as a major subject (it is a low tech science, not so hard to understand as big algebra problems). so, it starts in the school system to bring many peoples ideas into play about these super farms.
